Elder Sharon Johnson is the daughter of the late Bishop Melvin Williams, Sr., and Carrie Williams. Sharon's parents were the greatest influences in her faith journey. Their examples of serving those that were poor in spirit an underserved by opening their home to them, shaped her service to God and community.
Elder Johnson was licensed and ordained in 2015 at the Temple of Judah Ministries under the esteemed leadership of Bishop Melvin Williams, Jr. Maximizing on the technicalities of the call to ministry, she submitted to training at Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, where in 2017 she earned her Master of Divinity.
She is excited as she embarks upon launching HELP, an initiative of Hope, Elevation, Love and Power. It is her belief that HELP will inspire, lend support and motivate those that have suffered loss. She believes that her life is a "seed" and that it is her responsibility as a follower of Christ, to give hope and to promote liberation to the hurting and lost.

As an author she shares a glimpse of her marriage and how she was able to stay and stand in silence while experiencing both emotional and spiritual pain. For years she lived in loss and grief but understands, "It was painful but necessary, for without pain there would never have been a resurrection that enables fulfillment of your purpose".
